A Night Of Frights

“Blood! Your precious blood!” Take it easy, Orlok. First screened in 2016 and then again in 2018, the fan favorite B&W silent film, “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” (yes that’s the real title), makes its return to the Espresso stage with the Spartanburg Philharmonic chamber ensemble.

Just in time for Halloween and the highly anticipated 2024 remake of this classic vampire tale, this concert promises to be a spine-tingling experience. With a hauntingly evocative score arranged almost entirely of Johannes Brahms’s chamber music along with incidental music by our own Peter B. Kay, "Nosferatu" is a crowd favorite that will immerse you in the eerie world of Count Orlok. Get ready for an unforgettable night of suspense, horror, and exceptional music.
